K4/0 Remote Panel Pricing and Availability Update

The K4/0 Remote is coming along great! We’re placing orders for parts now and hope to kick off production between the end of June and early July — timing depends on when we receive the materials.

We expect the K4/0 price to be approximately $2,195. As you may be aware, our suppliers source materials globally, and recent tariffs are impacting overall pricing. Final pricing will be determined once our suppliers provide quotes based on our order quantity.

We are now accepting $500 refundable deposits for the K4/0. If you change your mind, your deposit will be fully returned.  Your deposit will help us schedule and plan material deliveries. Orders with deposits will be shipped first, and your K4/0 will ship based on your place on the list.

If you don’t place a deposit, no worries — your order will still ship, just after all the deposit orders are taken care of.  Add your name to the Waitlist here.

Operate any K4 station, from anywhere. Our new, highly portable K4/0 gives you complete remote control of the high-performance Elecraft K4 transceiver, whether from the comfort of home or out on the road. The remote K4 can be located anywhere the RF action is—at a site with an extensive antenna farm, on a mountaintop, even in a DX hot-spot. You’ll have new “ears” you only dreamed of!

Connecting to a remote K4 takes just seconds. Just tap the globe icon on the K4/0’s front panel and select a server radio from your list. You’ll need each K4’s IP address (or network name) and a password created by the owner.

No interface devices or third-party server required. The K4/0 uses the peer-to-peer protocol built into the K4, allowing the radio to act as its own server.

Compact and lightweight. At only 4” (10 cm) deep, the K4/0 is sized-right for a small home station, RV, hotel, or picnic table. It’s also easy to carry, weighing in at about 4.5 pounds (2 kg) and fitted with a handle. Optimize your viewing angle with the folding tilt feet, or place on a shelf. Low power requirements and an optional battery pack providing up to 4 hours of operating time.
