Q. Do Lithium-Ion batteries have shipping restrictions?

A. New shipping regulations for Lithium-Ion Batteries
Until further notice, we are currently restricted to shipping up to 3 KXBT2 batteries in a single shipment, with one of the three batteries inside a KX2 - this is for both US and international shipments.
We cannot ship Lithium-Ion Batteries to the following countries: Australia, Japan, Spain and Thailand.
Battery orders alone can be shipped UPS Ground for US and DHL for international shipping.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
Q. Shipping Status Information?

A. We strive to keep all products sold on our website in stock, but high demand occasionally results in delayed shipment.
In-stock items normally ship within 1-5 business days after the order is placed.

Q. How can I change the shipping address after I placed my order?

A. Changing shipping address after your order has shipped
If your order was shipped via UPS, we can request an address change. If UPS is able to redirect the delivery, there will be an address change fee. Currently, this fee is $16.80 (this is what UPS charges Elecraft). Please note that an address change will cause a shipping delay of at least 24 hours.
If your order was shipped via USPS, we are unable to change the shipping address once shipped. If you will not be home the postal service will leave your package. Please have a friend or neighbor check for you. If a signature is required the postal service will not leave the package but it may be returned to the shipper if the package isn't retrieved from the postal service in a timely manner.
If an incorrect address is provided at the time of purchase, the package will be delivered to the address provided regardless of the name or identity of the resident. Any non-existing streets or street numbers will cause the postal service to return the package to us as the sender. Reshipping may incur additional shipping charges.

Q. What shipping carriers do you ship with?

A. At this time, we ship all outgoing shipments exclusively with UPS, USPS and DHL for international shipping.
Q. Do you charge Shipping and Handling fees?

A. Yes, our shipping rates include handling fees in addition to the actual carrier shipping cost.
Q. How can I track my package?

A. There are a couple of ways of tracking your package.
1. Once your package is shipped, an email with tracking information will be sent to the email address provided at the time of purchase. You can click on the link in the email to track a package.
2. You can also log onto your online account to view the tracking number.

Q. Shipping Restrictions?

A. At this time, any items that are not internal modules will be shipped via UPS Worldwide for insurance purposes. This includes transceivers, amplifiers, panadapters, antenna tuners, remote systems.
Items under 4 lbs or valued less than $400 USD can be shipped via USPS International.
Embargoed and Sanctioned Countries:
The following countries are currently embargoed per United States export control regulations. We cannot ship to:
- Belarus
- Crimea - Regions of Ukraine
- Cuba
- Iran
- Iraq
- Ivory Coast
- Liberia
- North Korea (Democratic People's Republic of Korea)
- Sudan
- Syria
- Zimbabwe
Shipping Restrictions:
There are personal limits restrictions when shipping into China. The Value limit for personal effects is CNY1,000. Any items over that value cannot be shipped directly from our company to the customer.
Q. International Tax & Duty Charges?

A. Tax and duty charges on international orders
Elecraft cannot control any customs or import duties applied to your package by your local customs. Any outstanding customs charges or import duties must be paid by the customer and we cannot be held responsible for these charges. Customs charges or import duties are not included in the price of your ordered items. Elecraft cannot tell you what the cost will be as customs policies and charges can vary from country to country.
Exception from the above: As of July 1, 2021, EU Countries and the UK have eliminated the de minimis / low value exclusion for VAT. All packages going to EU countries and the UK will now incur VAT on the product purchase price, regardless of the invoice total. In addition, on these low-value packages VAT is required to be collected and remitted by the vendor. As of July 1, 2021, you will see VAT charges on your order if your order qualifies under this exception.

All invoices must reflect actual prices for items shipped and will not be altered.
If you refuse to accept delivery of the items you have purchased, the couriers may return the items back to Elecraft. In the event that this happens, you will be refunded for your order once it is received back to our facility, excluding the cost you paid for shipping as this aspect of your order was fulfilled. You may also bear the charges for shipping return fees the courier charges to Elecraft.
