KFLMATCH - Matching of 5 pole filters offsets within 40 Hz. (200 Hz, 500 Hz and 2.7 kHz filters only) 

For same operating frequency diversity receive usage with K3 and KRX3 locked together. Set the K3 offset menu for both filters equal and to the nearest 10Hz offset approximately half way between their marked offset frequencies. Only applies to our 5 pole filters, 200 Hz, 500 Hz and 2.7 kHz, which have non-zero offsets. 

Note: Best if both filters to be matched are ordered at the same time. We will try to accommodate matching to 5 pole filters already shipped (8 pole filters all have a nominal 0 offset) but we can only guarantee an offset match within 40 Hz if both filters are ordered at the same time, due to batch to batch manufacturing frequency changes. The K3 menu filter offset for both filters can then be set equally to the midpoint between their offsets.

* On SSB the K3 should transmit through the widest SSB filter available, typically 2.7 or 2.8 kHz. (You can receive on any filter.) All K3's must have at least a 2.7 or 2.8 kHz SSB filter installed. (2.7 kHz is included with the base K3.)  For ESSB, TX can be set to use the 6 kHz filter (if installed) and b/w can then be set by the DSP.

  ** AM and FM bandwidth filters are required on the main K3 TX/RX board for TX in AM and FM modes. (Only one AM filter is required for AM TX/RX, and one FM filter for FM TX/RX.) All filters can be used for RX in any mode.
